Built by
Rieger ContractingWe completed marine concrete removal and barging services for the Town of Bracebridge to clear a damaged pier from the wharf near the falls. After the 2019 floods broke off a large concrete pier, we brought our 31x60-foot barge up the river using two tugboats tied together to navigate tight river bends. When our 14-ton excavator couldn’t budge the heavy mass, we used NxBurst to crack the concrete in half. Once loaded onto the deck, we pushed back down the river, offloaded at a commercial landing on Lake Muskoka, and hauled it away for disposal.
