01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Following a sudden boathouse fire, we quickly mobilized for emergency shoreline cleanup, marine debris containment, and demolition. We arrived on site the following morning to install a floating turbidity curtain, ensuring burned debris and ash did not disperse into the lake. After bringing heavy equipment to the property, we began clearing charred debris while securing our municipal demolition permits. Once approved, we disassembled and removed the remaining steel framing. Although we had a barge on standby, our operators managed to complete the entire removal from the shore.

No word on the cause. It was so far gone I don’t know how anyone could pin point what happened. Nobody was on the property when it happened, and it was a sunny evening. Could’ve maybe been electrical but who knows.

Would you guys keep us posted with this one please? Very curious to learn what the cause was. There could be lessons that help all of us prevent this in the future. Thanks!

Jeez. Do you know the age of the boathouse and cause of fire yet? Nice work for an unfortunate circumstance.

What a shame. At least you were able to respond quickly.
