Dockside Welding

Built by Dockside Welding

01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We fabricated and erected a custom steel dock and two-story structural steel frame for a unique waterfront boathouse. Hired by the general contractor, our crew erected the heavy steel superstructure and dock frame along the shoreline. Rather than installing traditional wood decking, we spot-welded galvanized steel decking to the structural frame to support a solid concrete pour. This solid steel base enabled masons to complete the dock surface with wet-laid flagstone, supporting the finished two-storey boathouse above.

This is pretty awesome. Do you have any finish pics of the flagstone by chance?
