Two-Level Cedar Deck Construction in North York

I completed this two-level knotty cedar deck build in North York, combining extensive structural repairs with custom outdoor living carpentry. The 470 sq ft project required comprehensive framing upgrades, including pouring a new footing, correcting support beams, and replacing damaged joists. I installed premium knotty cedar decking across both the lower platform and the L-shaped upper deck, complete with a built-in cedar bar counter and rebuilt custom stairs with black metal railings. We finished the entire sundeck with a penetrating transparent sealer to protect the wood while highlighting the natural grain.
