Over time, outdoor exposure had turned the arched cedar gate and adjoining fence grey and worn. The restoration involved deep cleaning, sanding down the weathered timber to expose fresh grain, and applying a rich, protective stain to guard against moisture and UV damage. The finished wooden gate now delivers enhanced privacy, durability, and a warm natural look complementing the paved walkway and surrounding landscape.

Thanks dan I never was think in that but you have a point, I gonna keep in mind for the next time, grettings 🙋🏻♂️

Its always up to the client in the end. Remember, upgrades and extras are a good revenue stream and people often get you to do more "while you are there". Nice to e-meet you!

Grettings dan, your are totally right, but the costumer doesn’t want that, just the door, I don’t know if was for the money o I just forgot recommended that and he doesn’t told me to do it 😅

It looks like you rebuilt the new door to match the existing, nice clean work! Staining the existing fixed panel to match the existing would have kicked up the end result a notch.
