Indoor Rock Blasting for Island Spa Cold Plunge

We completed precision indoor rock blasting inside an existing island building to excavate space for a cold plunge spa tub. To execute the work on the island, we staged our 3.5-ton excavator on-site in late fall and hauled the remaining rock drilling and blasting equipment over the ice road during the winter. Using blast mats and careful containment, we broke out the bedrock foundation within the wooden structure. Once excavation wrapped up, we safely demobilized all machinery back across the frozen lake before rising temperatures melted the ice road.
