Bungalow to Three-Storey Duplex Conversion

We converted this early-1900s bungalow into a modern three-storey duplex with an underpinned basement and two-storey energy-efficient addition. Our team took the original structure down to its essentials, underpinning the foundation to maximize lower-level space before framing two new storeys above. The complete building envelope was wrapped in rockwool insulation and blueskin to ensure high-performance energy efficiency and airtightness. Finished with a clean mix of vertical metal siding, warm wood accents, custom trim, and glass railings, this extensive rebuild delivers two high-efficiency living units.
