Custom modern home construction in South East Oakville featuring low, flat-roofed massing, board-formed concrete, and deep horizontal glazing. This architectural build incorporates a Keller window system, maximizing natural light through expansive floor-to-ceiling glass and corner window assemblies. Images show progress across structural steel and engineered wood framing, spray foam roof insulation, and precision window installations connecting open interior spaces to outdoor courtyards.
We provided carpentry, site supervision, and project management for this custom traditional home build in South East Oakville's Chartwell area. Designed by Willmott Strickland Architect with interior planning by For Design Studio, the two-storey residence features steep gables, deep eaves, and striking black divided-lite windows. Our scope included precise structural framing and the integration of a comprehensive high-performance insulation package supplied by Yvon Building Supply, complete with continuous air and vapour barrier sealing.
