Custom Herringbone Ipe Floating Dock

We built this custom herringbone Ipe floating dock and runway to provide durable, beautiful waterfront access for personal watercraft. Using a 5:1 ratio, the hardwood Ipe decking was precision-cut and fastened with exposed stainless steel top screws. We finished the perimeter with a layer of 2x8 Ipe fascia for a clean edge. The entire dock is supported by a pressure-treated subframe assembled with heavy-duty galvanized hardware.
