01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We built this custom Ipe lakefront dock featuring pressure-treated framing, hidden deck fasteners, and custom-scribed hardwood fascia. For this winter waterfront build, we installed 2x6 pressure-treated sleepers and sturdy fascia backing over the dock structure. We wrapped the perimeter with a two-layer 2x8 Ipe fascia that was screwed, plugged, and sanded smooth, including precise custom scribing around natural shoreline rock. The premium Ipe decking was laid using a hidden fastener clip system for a seamless finish.
