As site supervisor on Georgian Bay, I managed the construction of a custom precast concrete boathouse with steel framing and milled cedar siding. We built all above-grade and frost walls using a precast concrete system, complemented by steel roof framing and a TPO roof. The structure features six hemlock garage doors for boat storage, stone masonry knee walls, and in-floor vaults for a winch launch system. Our carpentry crew framed the roof and installed site-harvested white cedar siding with copper flashings, while coordinating extensive mechanical work and radiant floor heating.
