01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We built new structural framing for an island cottage on Six Mile Lake, constructing a custom build right on the existing floor platform. For this island carpentry project, we preserved the original floor structure and framed a complete new cottage on top. Island construction presents unique logistical challenges, but our team handled all the structural framing, roof construction, and exterior wall sheathing overlooking the waterfront. The finished frame gives the property a solid, weather-tight build designed to last for years to come on the water.
