01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We built a custom two-storey home addition on a working farm property, featuring robust hand-framed structural roof framing. This project added substantial new living space to expand the existing farmhouse. Working on an active farm with gardens and livestock around made for a great site environment. The roof structure was completely hand framed using solid rafters and framing lumber to ensure it stands strong for decades. From framing to insulated exterior sheathing, every detail was built solid.
