We managed the construction of this custom modern waterfront home on the shores of Lake Ontario in St. Catharines, designed by John Willmott. This comprehensive build required precise site layout and construction management from deep foundation excavation to final architectural finishes. Highlights include massive expanses of lakefront glass, heavy structural steel integration, custom copper rough-ins, refined drywall details, and bespoke architectural woodwork. Impeccable craftsmanship and close trade coordination brought every custom architectural detail to life.

It was a pleasure being the Interior Trim Lead on this project. Lots of challenges along the way, but the end result was beautiful! A spectacular home with an equally spectacular view of Lake Ontario!
@Ian MacFayden Fair enough! Seems like a delicate balance to avoid the living room feeling like a greenhouse. Looks amazing!
It's all planned for in the mechanical design. That being said the biggest issues we tend to see are overheating in the summer months! The solar gain is typically under-estimated
With all that glass, are there any complexities with heating that side of the home? Is that part of the design of the large overhangs, for passive shading?
