Full Duplex Renovation: Kitchens, Baths & Insulation

For this full duplex renovation, I completed extensive structural, insulation, soundproofing, kitchen, and bathroom upgrades across both units. I replaced outdated insulation with R-30 closed-cell spray foam on the walls and R-60 on the ceilings, then installed Sonopan sound dampening and two layers of fire-retardant drywall between units. The flooring was upgraded with DRICORE subfloor and wood-look vinyl flooring, alongside full tile in the upper kitchen and both bathrooms. We also added two heat pumps to supplement the furnace, upgraded existing windows, added four new windows in the lower unit, and installed modern vanities, tiled showers, and complete kitchen cabinetry.
