We provided comprehensive project management, site supervision, and finish carpentry for this 4,000-square-foot custom build on Lake Rosseau near Port Carling. Designed by Foreshew Design with interiors by Parris McKenna Interiors, this modern lakeside residence showcases meticulous craftsmanship inside and out. Exterior highlights include precision timber siding, ash decking with frameless glass railings, and natural stone masonry. Inside, our carpentry team executed custom oak vaulted ceilings, tailored oak flooring with flush registers, and fine interior architectural millwork.

Set on the shoreline of Lake Rosseau, this custom bungalow is one of those builds that just hits different. Clean, sprawling architecture by Foreshew Design Associates paired with the craftsmanship of Hummingbird Hill Muskoka, all tied together with a mechanical system designed to disappear into the experience while delivering serious performance. Farr Mechanical installed a fully integrated system designed for efficiency, redundancy, and long-term reliability: • Radiant in-floor heating for consistent, low-temperature comfort • Air-source heat pump system handling primary heating and cooling loads • Custom sheet metal distribution network dialed in for airflow balance and quiet operation • High-efficiency boiler system acting as auxiliary support with a hydronic heating coil to assist the heat pump during peak demand • Indirect domestic hot water tank for stable, high-capacity DHW production • Steam humidification system to maintain indoor air quality through dry winter conditions • Underground gas infrastructure feeding critical loads with clean, concealed routing
