HOW PROJECTS WORK
Create a project in four steps, and in about ten minutes of your time.
You can do all of it from the truck while you sip your Timmy’s and wait for the rest of the crew to show up.

Finish the job
You were already going to do this any way! Every project starts with a job participated in and you actually finished.

Take the photos
Photos from your phone are fine. Take one wide shot of the whole job, a few close-ups of the details, and anything you are proud of.

Post the project
Give the job a name and add the trade, the city and what you did. Two or three lines of description is enough to get started.

Tag the crew
Add the people, companies and suppliers who worked on the job. We’ll let each of them know so they can confirm it.

When you tag someone, they get the credit too.
Tag a person, a company or a supplier and we email them. They confirm, and the project goes on their profile with your name still on it. Anyone who isn’t on the network yet gets an invitation with the job already waiting.

Nothing appears on anyone’s profile until they confirm it. If it wasn’t their work, they decline and it never shows.

A project is a real job completed by a tradesperson, crew or construction company. It can include photos of the work, the trade and location, who worked on it, and the tools, materials or suppliers involved.
Yes. Project pages are public, so anyone can browse them without creating an account or logging in. Each project has its own page showing the work and the people and businesses credited on it.
Yes. Construction is a team effort. You can tag the tradespeople, companies and suppliers who worked on a project. They confirm their involvement before the project appears on their profile, so everyone who did the work can get credit for it.
No but quality matters. Photos from your phone are fine but make sure the light is bright and good and there aren’t any distractions, make the project stand out. A wide photo of the finished job, a few close-ups and shots of the details you are proud of are enough to create a strong project page.
Yes, we encourage this practice. Only share information and photos you have permission to post. Always leave out the client’s name and exact address and describe the project using the city or a general location instead.
If you worked on a project, the person or company that posted it can add you as a contributor. Once you confirm that you were involved, the project can appear on your Projekt Network profile too, giving you credit for the work you helped build.
