Community Guidelines
LAST UPDATE: JUL 2026
Projekt Network is a place for people in the skilled trades to show their work, build their reputation, find opportunities, and connect with others in the industry. Most of these guidelines come down to common sense: be honest, treat people properly, share responsibly, and do not use the Service to harm, deceive, or exploit anyone. These Community Guidelines apply to everything shared or done through Projekt Network, including profiles, project posts, photographs, videos, comments, messages, job listings, company pages, reviews, and other activity.
1. Treat People With Respect
You may disagree with someone, offer honest feedback, or express a different opinion. However, you must not use Projekt Network to attack, threaten, intimidate, or repeatedly target another person.
You must not:
- Harass, bully, intimidate, or stalk another person.
- Threaten violence, property damage, or other harm.
- Encourage other people to target or harass someone.
- Share degrading, humiliating, or abusive content about another person.
- Make unwanted sexual comments or advances.
- Attack or mistreat people because of their background or personal characteristics.
- Repeatedly contact someone after they have asked you to stop.
Strong language is not automatically a violation. Using it to threaten, degrade, or repeatedly target another person may be.
2. Be Honest About Who You Are
Projekt Network works when members can trust what they see. You must provide accurate information about yourself, your company, your experience, and your qualifications.
You must not create a fake identity, impersonate another person, or falsely claim to represent a business, school, union, association, government agency, or other organization.
You must not misrepresent:
- Your name, role, employer, or business.
- Your experience or involvement in a project.
- Your licences, certifications, tickets, or qualifications.
- Your employment history or references.
- Your company’s services, location, or capabilities.
- Awards, memberships, partnerships, or endorsements.
- Whether content was created by you or belongs to you.
Project credits should accurately identify the people and companies that performed the work.
3. Show Work Responsibly
Projekt Network encourages members to share their projects. Before posting photographs or videos from a jobsite, make sure you are permitted to take and publicly share them.
Confirm that your employer, client, property owner, general contractor, project manager, or other responsible party is comfortable with the content being made public.
You must not share:
- Private addresses when the location is not already public.
- Access codes, keys, alarm systems, or security information.
- Confidential drawings, plans, contracts, or documents.
- Customer, employee, patient, or other private information.
- Vehicle licence plates or identifying information when it is unnecessary.
- People who have not agreed to appear in the content.
- Restricted work areas or information protected by an agreement.
- Content that could create an immediate safety or security risk.
When possible, give proper credit to the people and companies involved in the project.
4. Keep Jobs and Opportunities Legitimate
Job listings, apprenticeships, contracts, mentorship opportunities, training opportunities, and other offers posted on Projekt Network must be genuine.
Anyone posting an opportunity must accurately describe:
- The employer, hiring company, or organization offering the opportunity.
- The type of work involved.
- The job location or expected travel.
- The required experience, qualifications, licences, or certifications.
- The compensation when it is provided.
- Any tools, travel, training, or other costs the worker may be expected to cover.
- Whether the opportunity is employment, subcontracting, temporary work, volunteer work, training, or another arrangement.
You must not post fake opportunities to collect resumes, personal information, sales leads, payments, or account details.
You must not ask an applicant to pay for a job. Legitimate licensing, training, equipment, or certification requirements may be explained, but they must not be disguised recruitment fees or payments to the person offering the position.
Anyone posting an opportunity is responsible for following the employment, wage, safety, licensing, accessibility, and other laws that apply where the work will take place.
Projekt Network does not guarantee any job, applicant, employer, contractor, business, or working relationship. Members are responsible for checking opportunities, verifying information, and making their own decisions.
5. No Scams, Fraud, or Deceptive Activity
You must not use Projekt Network to deceive another person or dishonestly obtain money, information, property, services, or access to an account.
Prohibited activity includes:
- Fake jobs or business opportunities.
- False invoices or payment requests.
- Advance-fee schemes.
- Phishing or attempts to steal account information.
- Fake payment confirmations.
- Cheque overpayment schemes.
- Pyramid schemes or disguised recruitment programs.
- Misleading discounts, prices, services, or product claims.
- Counterfeit products.
- Fake reviews, references, testimonials, or endorsements.
- Requests to move money through another person’s account.
- Attempts to obtain passwords, banking details, identity documents, or other sensitive information without a legitimate reason.
You must not pressure another person to make an immediate payment, conceal a transaction, or avoid reasonable verification.
6. No Spam or Manipulation
You must not use Projekt Network for mass unsolicited promotion, repetitive messaging, or artificial engagement.
You must not:
- Send the same sales message to large numbers of people.
- Repeatedly contact someone who has not responded or has asked you to stop.
- Post irrelevant promotions in comments or project discussions.
- Buy, sell, or create fake followers, likes, comments, reviews, or other engagement.
- Use automated accounts to manipulate activity or visibility.
- Collect, scrape, or copy member information without permission.
- Create multiple accounts to avoid restrictions or mislead other members.
Businesses may promote relevant products and services through features intended for that purpose. Promotional content must be accurate, useful, and directed to an appropriate audience.
7. Keep It Legal and Safe
You must not use Projekt Network to plan, promote, request, encourage, or carry out illegal activity.
You must not post, offer, request, arrange, or promote:
- Stolen goods, tools, vehicles, equipment, or materials.

- Theft, vandalism, trespassing, or deliberate property damage.
- Violence or credible threats of violence.
- Abuse, exploitation, or human trafficking.
- Dangerous instructions intended to cause harm.
- Hacking, malware, or unauthorized access to accounts, devices, or systems.
You must not encourage people to ignore required licences, permits, inspections, building codes, workplace rules, or safety requirements.
Members may discuss mistakes, incidents, and unsafe practices for legitimate educational, reporting, or training purposes. This is different from encouraging other people to copy dangerous behaviour.
Graphic injuries, violence, or disturbing material must not be posted for entertainment or shock value.
8. Protect Personal Information
You must not publish, distribute, or misuse another person’s private information without permission.
This includes:
- Home addresses.
- Private telephone numbers or email addresses.
- Banking or payment information.
- Government identification numbers or documents.
- Passwords or login credentials.
- Medical, employment, or educational records.
- Private messages or conversations.
- Information that could expose someone to theft, harassment, fraud, or physical harm.
You must not pressure another person to provide sensitive personal information through a post, comment, or message.
When hiring, recruiting, or conducting business, collect only the information you reasonably need and handle it responsibly.
9. Respect Ownership
You should only share content that you created, own, or have permission to use.
You must not upload or use another person’s:
- Photographs or videos.
- Project plans, drawings, or designs.
- Written content.
- Logos, trademarks, or branding.
- Training materials.
- Product images.
- Other creative or proprietary work.
Giving someone credit does not automatically give you permission to use their content.
You may share links to publicly available material when doing so is lawful and does not misrepresent who created or owns the material.
10. Keep Interactions With Students and Young People Professional
Projekt Network may include students, apprentices, and members who are under the age of majority where they live.
Adults must keep interactions with younger members appropriate and connected to legitimate education, employment, mentorship, recruitment, or industry activity.
You must never:
- Send sexual or inappropriate messages or content to a young person.
- Ask for intimate or inappropriate photographs or videos.
- Pressure a young person to keep conversations secret.
- Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or groom a young person.
- Offer work, money, products, or gifts in exchange for inappropriate contact.
- Request unnecessary personal, location, or contact information.
- Pressure a young person to meet privately in an unsafe or inappropriate setting.
Serious concerns involving the safety, abuse, or exploitation of a young person may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
11. Keep Professional Disputes Professional
Disagreements, payment disputes, missed deadlines, and project problems can happen. Members may share honest experiences, but posts and comments must be based on information they reasonably believe to be true.
You must not:
- Invent allegations or knowingly publish false information.
- Edit or remove information to create a knowingly false impression.
- Threaten someone to obtain money, property, services, or another benefit.
- Publish private information to pressure, punish, or embarrass someone.
- Organize harassment against a worker, customer, contractor, or company.
- Use reviews, comments, or reports as leverage for an unrelated demand.
Projekt Network is not a court, licensing authority, workplace regulator, or debt-collection service. Some disputes should be handled directly between the parties, through a contractual process, through legal counsel, or through the appropriate authorities.
12. Report Problems
Use Projekt Network’s reporting tools when you see content or behaviour that may violate these Community Guidelines.
Reports may involve:
- Harassment, intimidation, or threats.
- Fake profiles or impersonation.
- False credentials or qualifications.
- Suspicious jobs, scams, or payment requests.
- Unsafe or illegal activity.
- Privacy violations.
- Stolen content or intellectual-property concerns.
- Spam or manipulation.
- Inappropriate contact with a student or young person.
Provide enough information for us to understand what happened. You must not knowingly file false reports or use the reporting process to retaliate against another member.
For matters that cannot be reported through the Service, contact us at hello@projektnetwork.com.
13. How We Enforce These Guidelines
When we become aware of a possible violation, Projekt Network may review the relevant content, account activity, reports, communications, and other available information.
Depending on the circumstances, Projekt Network may:
- Remove or restrict content.
- Ask a member to correct inaccurate information.
- Issue a warning.
- Limit messaging, posting, commenting, or other features.
- Request identity, business, employment, or credential verification.
- Temporarily suspend an account.
- Permanently close an account.
- Prevent someone from creating another account.
- Preserve information when reasonably required for safety, legal, or investigative purposes.
- Report serious or suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
When deciding what action to take, we may consider the seriousness of the conduct, the potential risk to other people, the member’s previous activity, and whether the violation appears to have been intentional or repeated.
Not every disagreement, criticism, unpleasant interaction, or disputed statement violates these guidelines. We may decide not to take action when the available information does not reasonably establish a violation.
14. Appeals
A member may ask Projekt Network to review a content removal, feature restriction, account suspension, or account closure.
An appeal should explain:
- The decision being appealed.
- Why the member believes the decision may have been incorrect.
- Any relevant context or supporting information.
Appeals may be sent to hello@projektnetwork.com.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that the original decision will be changed.
15. Emergencies and Immediate Danger
Projekt Network is not an emergency service.
If someone is in immediate danger or you believe a crime is taking place, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service where you are located.
After contacting the appropriate emergency service or authority, you may also report the relevant account, content, or activity to Projekt Network.
16. Updates to These Guidelines
Projekt Network may update these Community Guidelines as the Service grows, new features are introduced, legal requirements change, or the Service becomes available in additional regions.
When changes are significant, we may update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where appropriate.
By continuing to use the Service, you agree to follow the current version of these Community Guidelines.
