Location: 95 Ormond Street South, Thorold, Ontario Project: Showroom & Warehouse Renovation Industry: Building Materials & Construction Supply When Hewson Brothers Building Supply decided to put down roots in Niagara, we knew our new location needed to be more than another warehouse. We wanted to create a space built specifically around the contractors and construction professionals we serve every day. So, naturally, we started by tearing down some walls. Our new Niagara location at 95 Ormond Street South in Thorold underwent a transformation to create a more functional showroom, warehouse and contractor-focused building supply experience. Walls came down, spaces were reconfigured and the showroom and warehouse were rebuilt to better support how our customers actually work; making it easier to find products, access knowledgeable support, pick up materials and get back to the jobsite. The renovation also gave us an opportunity to bring the Hewson Brothers experience to Niagara: combining the capabilities of an established Southern Ontario building supplier with the relationships and service of a local, family-owned business. Building Closer to Our Customers Hewson Brothers has been supplying contractors across Niagara for years, but traditionally those customers were serviced through our other Southern Ontario locations. Opening in Thorold changes that. Having inventory, people and delivery capabilities directly in Thorold allows us to be closer, faster and more connected to the contractors building the region. Our Niagara warehouse stocks key building material categories including drywall, steel framing, insulation, exterior and weatherproofing products, sealants, tools and accessories; backed by a team that understands construction and the realities of keeping jobs moving. Local Supply. Local Builders. For us, this renovation represents more than a new showroom or warehouse. It represents an investment in Niagara. Hewson Brothers is a fourth-generation, family-owned Canadian company with roots in construction stretching back to the early 1900s. As we continue to grow, we're proud to bring that history to Niagara while building new relationships with the contractors, builders, associations and communities that are shaping the region. Sometimes growing means tearing a few walls down first.
