Custom Wood Privacy Screen Addition for Raised Deck

I designed and built a custom wood privacy screen on an existing raised deck, incorporating picture-framed lattice and integrated railing. I started with a 3D rendering to finalize the design with the homeowner before starting construction. To build the wall, I disassembled the existing railing and replaced the deck posts one by one to reach the required height. I reinstalled the railing assemblies, mounted framed lattice panels, and installed sturdy headers on both sides for strength and visual finish. A sloped 2x4 cap was incorporated into the header to shed rainwater and prevent pooling and wood rot.
