Built by HummingbirdHill Homes with 4 credited collaborators
This custom infill home build in Toronto's Forest Hill neighborhood features complex structural framing with cantilevered floors carried on exposed steel. Designed by Vanessa Fong Architecture and framed alongside Barbosa Carpentry, this three-storey residence demanded precision engineering from the ground up. Our scope encompassed everything from insulated concrete form (ICF) foundation installation and structural steel shop drawings to intricate framing and weather barrier sheathing. The finished structural envelope sets the foundation for bold, contemporary urban living.
One-of-a-kind custom home with Vanessa Fong Architecture. Beautiful Toronto infill home, framed by Barbosa Carpentry.

Haha. Yes sir! 🌳

This one is pretty dynamite! We're calling it "Tree House". You'll have to watch our Youtube series to find out why 😉

Yeah baby! All that steel, clear spans, big openings, curved exterior walls and nothing but flat roofs. Looking forward to seeing the progress of this one!
