Kavan Johnstone-SchulzI fabricated custom bent-laminated jamb extensions and radius casing to fit a replacement arched window after the original unit leaked. The new window arrived without matching trims, so I built both the jamb and casing from scratch in the workshop. For the jamb extension, I bent and clamped wood laminations around a precise arched form. For the casing, I assembled segmented timber sections along the template layout and used a router to cut a smooth, clean radius. Custom architectural millwork like this is what finish carpentry is all about.
