Hey there! My name is Kavan Schulz. I am 27 and have been in carpentry since grade 11. I started with a custom stair company the summer of grade 11 and stayed with that same company for 7 years. What I was working for this company we touched every aspect, learning how to preparing raw materials into completed stair components. I then moved into a position where we assemble and installed stairs. My final role at that company was installing handrail systems and templating glass. During this time I decided to pursue a Red seal apprenticeship. I found a builder in Muskoka region that hit both of my “must haves” 1) must do phenomenal work 2) have their accreditation with skilled trades
