KHL Framing completed the full structural framing for this 4,000+ sq ft custom modern barn-style home in Oakville, Ontario. The build features an engineered floor system and a hybrid roof combining hand-cut conventional framing with engineered trusses. Multiple wall plate heights, cathedral ceilings, and complex roof transitions required precise layout to ensure structural integrity throughout. Framed features include living space beneath the garage, coffered and raised ceilings, large structural window openings, an elevator shaft, and a 10’ x 8’ skylight framed over a mono stringer staircase.
