01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We installed a commercial hydronic snow melt system across a 7,000 sq ft exterior loading pad built for loads up to 90,000 lbs. To eliminate winter snow and ice hazards for forklifts and contractor pickups, RGS was brought in to specify the ideal sub-slab insulation. We utilized 45 psi rated Ampex puck insulation boards to establish a strong thermal break while speeding up the layout of hydronic PEX tubing, ensuring safe, ice-free heavy vehicle operations all winter.
