01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

I developed a virtual 3D builder field guide modeling building envelope control layer continuity based on CMHC Sixplex residential plans. Using SketchUp and technical plan reading, I modeled critical transition details across the entire assembly—from foundation sill plates to mid-floor rim joists and roof connections. This field manual highlights airtightness, WRB continuity, vapor control integration, and thermal insulation sequencing to ensure resilient building performance on multi-unit wood-frame construction.
