Heavy Timber Post and Beam Cabin Construction

We built a custom heavy timber post and beam cabin on a remote wilderness site using pine timbers and precision layout techniques. Navigating rugged rocky terrain required careful site layout, rough-road material handling, and a mobile crane for raising massive beams. Using laser levels and layout tools, we anchored posts to bedrock, framed cathedral ceilings, insulated subfloors, and installed pine tongue-and-groove interior cladding and hardwood flooring. The project also features an expansive wraparound deck on the rock ledge, large windows, and stairs leading to a waterfront dock.
