Piping repair

I was responsible for coordinating directly with the general contractor to resolve a critical issue involving a broken bolt inside the facility’s piping system. The damaged bolt prevented the flange from being removed and was causing operational delays. Project Scope: - Broken Bolt Extraction Identified and removed a bolt that had seized inside the piping system, preventing disassembly and maintenance. - Flange Removal & Replacement Removed the existing flange, prepared the piping surfaces, and installed a new flange to restore proper sealing and system reliability. - Mechanical Coordination Worked closely with the general contractor to plan the repair sequence, ensure safe execution, and minimize downtime during the repair. Outcome: The piping system was fully restored with a new flange installed and the seized bolt successfully removed. This eliminated the obstruction, improved system reliability, and allowed the contractor to proceed with the rest of the project without further delays.
