01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We custom-built this modern red oak veneer feature wall featuring an integrated electric fireplace, TV niche, stone niche, and a seamless hidden door. Designed with intentional 3/8” reveals around the perimeter, slats, and panels, every detail required precision framing with 2x6 material. The on-site custom door matches the 7 1/2” wall thickness, using breaks in the 1x1 poplar slat pattern to conceal the door pull and allow for a clean swing. A mitre-folded TV niche allows the television to sit completely flush against the dark paneling.
