Marshland Boardwalk Construction & Trail Connection

01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We built a heavy-duty wooden boardwalk to connect two trail sections across marshland, providing a stable crossing through wet terrain. The structure is supported by corrugated culvert pipes and framed with pressure-treated 4x4s and 2x4s to withstand challenging soil and water conditions. Solid timber decking was installed along the entire run, finished with sturdy edge curb rails for safety. The finished trail crossing easily accommodates pedestrian and ATV traffic, complete with a crushed stone transition at the entrance.

Clever! A very simple way to keep the boardwalk elevated. Minimal impact to the area as well.
