Built by
Alexander Le DrewWe built a custom timber boardwalk across marshland to provide direct water access, complete with a viewing deck at the water's edge. The entire pathway is supported by corrugated culvert pipes beneath the framing to allow natural water flow beneath the structure without disturbing drainage. I framed both the walkway and the seating platform using pressure-treated 4x4s and 2x4s, secured with anchoring chains to maintain stability over marsh terrain. The finished project delivers a durable, dry path across the wetlands leading to a relaxing seating area overlooking the river.
