01 · ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Shaun Maiato

I converted an unfinished framed space into a fully finished attic room on Six Mile Lake in Muskoka. The project began with complete insulation and poly vapor barrier installation throughout the angled roofline and walls, followed by custom drywall hanging, taping, and painting. I installed durable new flooring, custom wood trim along the sloped transitions and baseboards, interior doors, and final detailing to transform an empty attic into a bright, functional living and bedroom suite.
