We installed a prebuilt custom curved staircase in Toronto, framing the sweeping architectural walls and prepping the surface for tile. The custom wooden staircase structure was fabricated in our shop before on-site installation. Once placed, we framed the intricate curved support wall and balustrade structure to match the exact radius of the stairs. To prepare the structure for the upcoming tile finish, we secured curved cement board underlayment along the wall assembly. This careful carpentry framing ensures a rigid, seamless base for the finished tile surfaces.
