Our member is looking to hire a qualified and Licensed 313A HVAC Technician, for a full-time role in their company, located in Brantford, ON. Job Description Requirements: - HVAC Installer / service (JP) 313A or 313D willing to upgrade - Gas G2 license and willingness to pursue a G1 gas license - ODB Salary: - $42 - $65/hr., depending on experience and qualifications. Essential Skills: - Estimate costs and materials - Strong interpersonal skills - Trouble shooting, system analysis and problem solving - Works well with others and individually - Versatility and adaptability - Detail oriented - Sheet metal experience an asset Work Setting: - Residential – single dwelling to high rise - Industrial - Commercial - Agricultural Recommended Skills: - Determine system requirements and sizing - Read blueprints & drawings to determine system requirements, locations of fixtures & sizes - Working with glycol and chilled water systems - Cut, Ream, Thread/Grove various size piping and materials - Boiler trouble shooting and maintenance - Chiller Trouble shooting and maintenance - Welding & brazing - Experience on skyjacks/boom lifts - Inspect for and repair gas leaks - Troubleshooting and repairs to heating systems and equipment - Install gas fired appliances - Installation and repair of hydronic heating systems Own Tools / Equipment: - Hand Tools - Steel-toed safety boots Transportation / Travel Information: - Vehicle supplied by employer - Clean drivers abstract - Valid (G) driver’s license - Willing to work remotely (room and board will be provided) Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
