Custom Built-In Bunk Beds with Stairs in Michigan

I designed, built, and installed these custom full-over-full built-in bunk beds with a central staircase for a basement in Michigan. Using 3D design models, dimensional lumber, finish plywood, and trim moldings, I framed the units off-site before hauling and fitting them into the room. The custom staircase was built so the bottom step sits flush with the bed frames. After assembling the frames in the walkout basement, I completed the slats, paneling details, and painted finish on-site.
