Custom UTV Sander Pivot Mount Fabrication

We designed and fabricated a custom sander pivot mount for a UTV to help sand an entire driveway efficiently in winter conditions. The crew from Hummingbird reached out through the app to collaborate on this custom build. We created design sketches and welded a heavy-duty steel pivot arm assembly on our fixture table before mounting the sander unit onto the vehicle's hitch setup. While the mechanism functioned smoothly in testing, adding a full material load pushed the setup beyond its weight limits. We are always testing and refining our custom equipment fabrications.
