This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in residential construction who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities: - Supervise trades and site activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship - Visit job sites daily to monitor progress and address issues proactively - Conduct or participate in daily safety audits using our digital platform (BuilderTrend) - Provide training, feedback, and support to site crews and subcontractors - Upload daily logs, complete To-Do tasks, and prepare Thursday reports through BuilderTrend - Create project schedules and weekly checklists; track labour hours and productivity - Review and interpret construction drawings, ensuring accurate execution - Monitor material usage, minimize waste, and schedule deliveries in advance - Perform occasional general labour tasks (e.g., site cleanup, material pick-up) - Communicate effectively with clients, designers, architects, and project managers - Submit all required paperwork, receipts, and reports to the office in a timely manner - Investigate and document incidents, near misses, or safety concerns - Represent MGB professionally with clients, trades, and the public Qualifications: - 5+ years of supervisory experience in residential construction (custom homes/renovations preferred) - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications - Proficient with construction management software (BuilderTrend preferred) - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicts professionally - Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards - Comfortable with technology (Microsoft Office, Outlook, spreadsheets, databases) - Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required Compensation: Salary negotiable and based on experience.
