Red Seal Carpenter (Intermediate)

We're looking for an experienced Red Seal Carpenter / Journeyman to join our growing team and contribute to projects that are executed to the highest standard. Working alongside our Site Supervisors and Project Management team, you'll play a key role in delivering projects from framing through to final finishes, helping ensure every detail reflects the quality our clients expect. The Role This is a hands-on position for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing a project come together from start to finish. You'll complete a wide range of residential carpentry tasks while working from construction drawings and specifications, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Catlin's quality standards. Maintaining an organized job site, communicating effectively with the project team and subcontractors, and helping projects stay on schedule are all essential parts of the role. This position requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional workmanship every day. Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will have: Red Seal Carpenter (or equivalent Journeyman qualification) 5–10 years of residential carpentry experience following apprenticeship Experience working on custom homes and high-end renovations Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building practices Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent problem-solving and communication skills A strong commitment to quality, safety, and organization A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, leads by example on site, and enjoys mentoring apprentices while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
