Mitchell ManufacturingCustom aluminum hot tub cover/deck frame done, went with inlayed linear bearings, when finished was a usable deck and at the click of a button hot tub access. Super fun project ended at about 12’ by 10’. Can see the core ten retaining wall we did as well, post coming about that in the future!

The paneling was used for insulation to sit between the ribs and hide the mechanical components for the drivetrain, it was later finished with wood to match the upper deck, the gap was a nice drain and way to water the plants up front. I unfortunately haven’t been back to that project it was one of my last projects before I left that company.
Super cool @Mitchell Manufacturing what’s the story with the panels between the ribs? I assume the gaps are so there’s no standing water?
