Heavy detailed feature wall with double-sided hidden door

This wall was designed to incorporate intentional 3/8” gap. The reveal is incorporated around the whole perimeter, on the slat wall and between the oak panels. The door was custom built on site to match the 7 1/2” wall thickness. The front incorporates 2 breaks in the wall pattern that hides a door pull. The inside matches that with an extra break that allows for the door swing. The TV niche is mitre folded allowing for the tv to sit as flat against the wall as possible. Framing portion was perhaps the most challenging. The TV niche, stone niche, the fireplace opening and the electrical had to be placed with a 100% precision at the rough stage.
