PBS Loading area Snow Melt

7000 square foot exterior concrete pad designed to carry large vehicles weighing up to 90,000 lbs. Client wanted to reduce the risk of accidents during the winter time by eliminating the snow and ice making it safe to operate not only the forklifts required to load and offload the large trucks, but as well to make a safe environment for contractor pick ups. RGS was consulted to ensure the proper "puck" insulation board was used to provide the thermal break and to ensure a much quicker installation of the pex pipe. In this case we used a 45 psi rated board, Ampex, designed to hold up to a 1" pipe.
