A great visual of one of the most important concepts I teach builders and carpenters. Many high performance flashing and airsealing tapes *like TESCON VANA* have a pressure activated adhesive that gets stronger over time. The photo on the left shows the inconsistencies that occur when applying pressure with your palm, while the photo on the right shows the perfectly uniform adhesion that happens when you use the PRESSFIX tool *or whichever roller/squeegee comes with the flashing tape*.
