This design-build project, completed in 2021, transformed the backyard of a new home in Downtown Dundas, Ontario. The homeowners wanted a functional and beautiful outdoor space where their young family could enjoy time together. The centerpiece of the project is a luxurious outdoor kitchen, designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. The project maximized the small backyard space, providing ample room for the family’s three children to play. The existing concrete steps were replaced with new, modern stone steps, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics. The result is a sophisticated, family-friendly outdoor retreat tailored to the homeowners’ needs.

Introducing “Haven Stone Retreat” located in Ancaster, completed in 2018. This project aimed to transform a sloped backyard with significant elevation changes into a functional and visually appealing space while preserving the existing pool. The client’s primary request was the construction of a large armour stone retaining wall to create usable space around the pool area. The main challenges involved installing the sizeable armour stone boulders in tight spaces near the pool and incorporating a fence atop the retaining wall. Our team successfully tackled these obstacles, creating a curvaceous retaining wall that beautifully complemented the pool and improved the flow of the space. This comprehensive project also included the installation of a new fence, well-designed gardens, additional retaining walls, alterations to the pool, a stone patio, and a new shed, resulting in the creation of the tranquil and inviting Haven Stone Retreat.
